If only I knew.....

If I knew it was going to be my last day on Earth, I would have gently covered you and the kids while you softly fell asleep.....
If I knew it was going to be the last time I would walk out of the frontdoor, I would have hugged and kissed you, and run back for more....
If I knew it was the last time I would see you, I would have taken a minute to tell you " I love you" instead of just assuming that you already know....
If I knew it was going to be the last day I would get to spent with you, I would have spend it with you, but I was so sure we would still have many more days....
If I knew it was the last day on Earth, I would have taken my Bible and seeked the Face of God, until I found Him, or I would have phoned someone to help me....
If I knew it was the last night with you, I would have stayed home and had dinner with you at the table, and give Thanks together....

But, surely there will always be a tomorrow.....and then we would get a second chance to do everything right? So I thought.....

There will always be another day I can tell you that I Love you, and a chance to ask: " Can I do something for you?" But I was wrong.....

Tomorrow is promised to no one! Not young, nor old. And today might be the last day you have to hold your loved ones just one more time....
Act then, as if it is your last day.....tell them how much you love them and that you will never forget them....
Because if you can wait for tomorrow.....What is wrong with today??

If tomorrow never comes, you'll regret all the things you meant to do, but didn't.
Make time to say: " I am sorry." "Forgive me" "Thank you" "I love you" And to from a relationship with your Creator.

And IF tomorrow never comes.....at least you will have no regrets about today.
